Investment Analytics Data Warehouse Moves to Production
State Street announced today the first phase of a new Investment Analytics Data Warehouse. Utilizing the latest technologies and techniques in data modeling, this initiative is specifically designed to enhance access to performance and analytical data. The warehouse provides comprehensive access to monthly and daily returns across accounts, composites and benchmarks down to the security level. This capability will also extend to other State Street key analytical products including risk and private equity in order to provide a single consolidated view across all investments for institutional customers. This solution, coupled with a series of planned dashboard and reporting releases on my.statestreet.com, will greatly enhance dynamic access for customers to analytics data.

Private Edge^® Dynamic IRR Calculator
State Street’s Private Edge Service, one of the most extensive and comprehensive private equity data sets currently maintained in the marketplace, has recently launched a new web-based interactive calculator that enables customers to dynamically calculate IRR’s and compare the results to the State Street Private Equity Index (SSPEI) which is composed of more than 1,400 funds and $1.2 billion in commitments. This proprietary tool empowers customers to calculate returns based on their unique preferences, such as manager, vintage year and strategy. By tailoring time periods and exposures, generating comparative index results that most closely match the activity of investment portfolios is now possible.

Investment Compliance Dashboard Enhancements
State Street also announced the release of a new version of its online Investment Compliance Dashboard. The upgraded version showcases a new look and feel and offers increased efficiencies for customers. Some of the newly added efficiencies include:

• Drilldown capability within trend-analysis graphs
• Recurring alert-tracking capabilities
• A listing of the rules attached to each fund
• The ability to search for funds that are utilizing a particular rule(s)
• Increased reporting and research capabilities
  

Downloadable Reports for Elkins/McSherry Trade Cost Analysis
State Street’s Elkins/McSherry trade-cost analysis and consulting business has incorporated new enhancements to its online delivery platform. State Street customers now have the ability to receive online reports overnight (T+1) with an analysis of the prior day’s trading performance. The T+1 reports are presented using the existing feature-rich toolset providing many choices in aggregation, benchmarks and filters.

Elkins/McSherry has also added the ability to offer pre-defined downloadable reports directly from the web. This new capability provides customers a seamless solution to view and print clear and concise reports of their daily, weekly, monthly or quarterly transaction-cost analysis. The new feature compliments the existing exporting capability already available through the online service.
